About Birdy Girl Art

Birdy Girl Art is dedicated to showcasing unique and vibrant paintings of birds. Our art stands out due to its whimsical nature, use of bright colors, and abstract style. We aim to offer a distinctive and vibrant artistic experience to our customers.
Heather Loeb, originally from the Dallas area, has been living in Corpus Christi for the past 20-ish years. By day she's the Affiliate Leader of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Greater Corpus Christi and a Guest Columnist at the Caller-Times and at night she paints after her two children are in bed, her six cats are fed and her husband is in front of the TV or playing video games. Sometimes she just starts paintings and lets everybody fend for themselves.

Heather has always had an affinity of birds (all 11 of her tattoos are birds) and loves to paint a variety of abstract feathered friends in bright, bold colors.

When she's not hanging with her family, you can catch her painting or writing — be sure to check out of her blog on mental illness at wwww.unrulyneurons.com. Heather, who has been mentally ill since childhood, prioritizes painting and writing as self-care, a necessity for her major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, avoidance personality disorder and eating disorder.

You can see her passion in her paintings.
